Bespoke New Banquettes Pesto Restaurants

What We Did

We were delighted to be part of the full refurbishment of Pesto Restaurants – Walton Arms, which recently reopened with a fresh new look. This large-scale project gave us the opportunity to showcase our expertise in creating beautiful, functional seating for a busy hospitality environment.

Our Brief

Pesto Restaurants wanted to completely refresh their seating, combining bespoke new banquettes with refurbished existing furniture to create a cohesive, inviting dining space.

Our Solution

• U-Shaped Banquettes: Featuring curved kickplates in oak veneer with matching capping, all stained in a warm ‘medium oak’ finish.
• Standard Banquette Seating: Upholstered with plain seat bases and deep buttoned backrests for style and comfort.
• Premium Upholstery: All banquettes were finished in Yarwood Dollaro Olive and Yarwood Dollaro Mulberry, adding rich, inviting tones to the restaurant’s new interior.
• Attention to Detail: The banquettes were finished with cushion-style ends, ensuring a polished appearance from every angle.

Chair Refurbishment with Taylors Classics

We worked alongside Taylors Classics Furniture to reupholster the restaurant’s existing Kingsley Tub Chairs.

• New Base Foams: Giving each chair a new lease of life and maximum guest comfort.
• Signature Upholstery: Chairs were finished in a vibrant mix of Yarwood Dollaro Olive, Clover, Fudge, Mulberry, and Rust, maintaining the restaurant’s character while tying in beautifully with the new banquettes.
• Preserving Craftsmanship: These oak-framed chairs, known for their traditional turned front legs and classic design, were refreshed rather than replaced, supporting a sustainable “restore, not renew” approach.

The Result

The Walton Arms now boasts a cohesive, comfortable, and visually striking dining space, perfectly aligned with Pesto Restaurants’ welcoming, rustic Italian brand. Guests can enjoy both style and comfort, from the elegant banquettes to the refreshed tub chairs, all designed to withstand the demands of a busy restaurant environment.
