What We Did

Project Overview

Cosy Club Leeds reopened its doors in September, unveiling a bold new interior that captures the spirit of glamour, nostalgia, and celebration. The Albion Street venue, first opened in 2014, has been completely reimagined as part of the brand’s exciting new evolution, offering guests an unforgettable experience from brunch to late-night cocktails.

Led by award-winning designer Cassie Nicholas and Lyzanne Smith from Loungers Ltd, the creative team transformed the restaurant into a cinematic-inspired space rich with texture, pattern, and personality. Anna Hayman created bespoke prints for the venue, including custom-made designs for carpeting, upholstery, and wallpaper, all tailored to the Cosy Club’s relaxed members' club aesthetic.

Our Role

South West Upholstery was proud to bring our craftsmanship and expertise to this ambitious interior. Working closely with the design team, we produced a collection of bespoke upholstered pieces that perfectly capture the new Cosy Club vision, which is sophisticated, comfortable, and full of charm.

What We Delivered

• Signature Snake Banquette: The show-stopping centerpiece of the restaurant, blending luxurious curves and bold detailing for maximum visual impact.
• Bespoke Beehive Seating: A distinctive design statement that elevates both comfort and style.
• Cosy Pouffes: 18 custom-made pouffes upholstered in striking fabrics that complement the venue’s rich palette.
• Cosy Sofas & Chairs: Tailored seating crafted exclusively for this project, designed to balance comfort, durability, and timeless style.

The Result

The finished space embodies the cinematic glamour envisioned by the design team, a perfect blend of elegance, playfulness, and comfort. Every upholstered piece enhances the mood and character of the venue, offering guests an experience that feels both luxurious and inviting.

From the bold statement banquettes to the finer details of each seat and cushion, our contribution helped bring the new Cosy Club Leeds to life and is another proud milestone in our ongoing partnership with Loungers Ltd.
