How much does it cost to reupholster a chair?
We try to be as flexible as possible in regards to the time it takes to reupholster a chair. Unless you know exactly what you want, we don’t like to rush the ideas phase. We ensure that you are satisfied with the material choice and any other extras you’ve decided to add to your chair.
The work itself takes between seven and sixteen days to complete, which is dependent on the amount of work that needs to be done and how intricate the design is. We are able to book your work in three to four weeks after the order is placed, meaning the whole process is usually completed within six weeks of you going ahead!
Because of this, we say that your furniture reupholstery will take around six to eight weeks from the day you place your order to us placing your beautifully reupholstered chair back in its favourite spot in your home.
How to get a chair reupholstery quotation
We can give you a no-obligation written quotation for the work you want to be done for your chair
upholstery so you can decide whether to proceed. There are two ways you can do this.
Using our integrated contact form, send us images of your chair and what you are looking for with the reupholstery. We will do our best to get back to you on the same day.
You can drop into our store, bringing photos of your chair to show us. You’ll be able to have a look at our sample books as well to get a feel for the materials we offer.
You might find it easier to upload photos to our Facebook, Instagram or Twitter page straight from your phone. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible, but please note we only monitor these sites during our shop opening hours.
Delivery and collection
You are very welcome to deliver the chair yourself to either of our showrooms, or you can opt for our collection and delivery service. You won’t need to lift a finger; our delivery men will collect the chair from where it is in your home and return the reupholstered piece to the room and position you want it.
There is a fee for our delivery service which will vary depending on where you live. Please quote your postcode and let us know if you’d like delivery and drop off when you contact us about your chair.
No Hidden Costs
As a Which? Trusted Trader, we promise excellent customer service with complete transparency in costs. Sometimes it isn’t possible to completely predict the costs as the existing upholstery might be hiding structural issues, but we do our very best to provide an accurate quotation.
Please note that all our prices are inclusive of VAT, and that a two-year warranty applies to the goods provided.
If there are any last-minute issues, we’ll always let you know as soon as possible and won’t start work until we’ve agreed on a price. This way, you’ll always know exactly what you’ll be paying – no hidden costs added at the end!
