Furniture CNC Machine Operator

  • Full Time 41.25 hours per week Plus Overtime if you like
  • 5 days per week – 7am – 4pm
  • Competitive pay depending on experience

Brief

We have a vacancy for a passionate Furniture CNC Machine Operator to join our team straight away. You will be responsible making patterns for the production of upholstery & soft furnishing using our digitizing system and then operating CNC machinery to cut fabric, vinyl and leather to very high standards.

Your role will include

The role also includes working along side our workshop team in the upholstery department preparing items for production, taking apart patterns, making patterns, assembling items and upholstery work such as building frames, applying foam and covers where training will be provided to give a full understanding of the process involved.

 

Skills Required

  • Already have experience in operating CNC machinery ideally in upholstery
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and keep calm under pressure
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Good work ethic
  • Willing to take direction with changing priorities

 

Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of CNC machinery
  • Proficiency in CAD software and SolidWorks for design and fabrication
  • Experience with programmable logic controllers and milling processes
  • Familiarity with hand tools, materials handling, and tooling
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
  • Background in assembly and welding techniques
  • Previous warehouse experience is a plus

Based at our workshop in Novers Hill Trading Estate, Bedminster, BS3 5QY.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £29,000-£30,000 per year
