Here at South West Upholstery, we love being part of the process of transforming a piece of furniture. Of course we enjoy being involved from start to finish – but we also understand that you might have the same upholstery bug as us! Whether you’re upholstering a stool, dining chair, or even making curtains, we’re happy to supply upholstery fabric.

Scatter Cushions

Perhaps you’re looking to freshen up your furniture for the summer with a few new scatter cushions? Why not try making them yourself following our cushion cover tutorial? If you find yourself a little stuck you can ask us for advice, or we can step in should you need a little more than advice.

Our Upholstery Fabrics

All of the fabrics we supply are suitable for upholstery, unless we inform you otherwise. There are a limited few suitable for curtains only, but we will always check with you the purpose of the material before confirming its suitability. We are also able to supply fire certificates if necessary.

Warwick Fabrics

Warwick started as a company in Australia and have grown in reputation and selection. Below are a couple of their more recent fabric collections, but you can find their full collection here. We are able to order any fabric from Warwick for you – they provide quality fabric and vinyl for great value.

Sunbury Design

If you’re looking for material that resists even red wine stains, the Aquaclean range from Sunbury Design will be right up your street. With five different designs, all stains can be removed used water only! Sunbury Design also offer contract grade velvet, vinyl, and more.

Crest JMT Leather

If leather is more your cup of tea, we can supply high quality leather hides from JMT leather. Whether you’re concerned about colour matching or choosing a similar grain, we have a wide range for you to choose from.

Other suppliers and samples

We can also supply Ross fabrics, Cristina Marrone (Cover-Tex), and Agua Fabrics. Agua Fabrics are particularly great if you are looking for easy-to-clean materials. Any member of our team would be very happy to order free samples for you, so you don’t have to make a blind decision. With samples of braid and studding in store, we can supply everything you need to complete your upholstery project.
