  • Our frames are all handmade to order in England making them really bespoke upholstery pieces, we use traditional joiners and modern CNC production for large orders.
  • We have a in house design team who can provide detailed drawings for your bespoke furniture.
  • We only use FSC approved wood for our bespoke upholstery projects
  • The same upholsterer works on your bespoke upholstery piece from start to finish, taking great pride and satisfaction in it
  • You can customize your bespoke furniture however you’d like, whether you want a different size, shape, fabric, or fillings

We had total re-upholstering of a large sofa which was beautifully done. Service was excellent, including picking up an enquiry of twelve months previously and being very flexible and helpful in respect of pick-up and delivery. Sofa has regained pride of place in our sitting room!

My 20 year old sofa looks brand new following its refurbishment by South West Upholstery. Following my partner's stroke 3 years ago the sofa has been abused!! Saggy, stained cushions and the seat coming away from the basement meant it was difficult to get up from the sofa.
It is so comfortable and I love the fabric.
It was collected on 22nd Nov and returned on Dec 10th by careful, experienced men.

I'm really pleased I had it done, it was far less expensive than buying a new sofa of the same quality, and saved the sofa from landfill. It will outlive me!

I would give more stars if possible. From first contact to the final delivery of 4 re-upholstered dining chairs, the experience has been seamless.

Great website. Friendly, professional staff on the end of the phone, wonderfully efficient and friendly, company employed, delivery team, a vast variety of fabrics to choose from and a price that was infinitely cheaper than purchasing new dining chairs of a similar standard. I could not be happier or more impressed with the whole company and shall be using them again.

We used South West last year for the first time having our three piece cushions replaced. As we had searched for ages looking for a new three piece, which we could not find anything that took our fancy, there was nothing wrong with our three piece really.

So we decided to have the cushions made firmer. When we contacted South West Abbie was so helpful, as we had never done this before. She was professional, helpful throughout the process giving us guidance which was just what we wanted.
We were so pleased with the outcome, we have just used South West again to have another two cushions replaced on another sofa.

We recommended friends, who had their dining room chairs recovered last month, again another satisfied customer. Great company and staff.

This service is available for both contract and domestic customers. You can choose from one of our sample designs, or create your own. The range is ever growing!

Working with our client, Loungers, we create bespoke upholstery furniture for their branches, customisable by design and fabric choice. It is great to be a part of creating a family-friendly atmosphere in the popular Lounges and a more sophisticated feel for their Cosy Clubs.

Customised Blaise Two Seat Sofa in Velvet

Jackie chose our ‘Blaise’ sofa for its minimalistic design and opted for a bright yellow velvet to complement her art-based interior, with multi-coloured buttons to pull the room together.

Cadbury Winged Armchair in Leather

Mr & Mrs Weakley loved the design of our Cadbury armchair, combined with the practicality of leather and a bespoke lumbar cushion in the base of the chair. Bespoke upholstery can help bring that touch of uniqueness to any home!

Smyth Chair Built to Order

Mrs Davis fell in love with our Smyth chair the moment she saw it. As her home has amazing views of the fields from the window, it suited their home perfectly and ordered some bespoke scatter cushions in the same fabric after receiving their upholstered chair.

Bespoke Living Room Furniture to Customer’s Design

Lyn was undertaking a complete transformation of her home and had very specific ideas about what she wanted her custom made furniture to look like, and what purpose it should serve. Working with her on her bespoke upholstery pieces, we created two upholstered lounge chairs, including a matching footstool for one, a large lounge sofa, a hallway sofa, a buttoned window seat and more. Don’t they look fabulous?
