What We Did
We were delighted to work with Electric Bristol, the South West’s leading music venue, on a large-scale upholstery project. In total, we reupholstered 68 meters of their existing banquette seating, giving the space a fresh new look while retaining the comfort and functionality their customers expect.
The Brief
The original seating was upholstered in a bright red fabric. While striking, the venue wanted to update its look with a more sophisticated, versatile finish to complement their dynamic events space.
Our Solution
We reupholstered all banquette seating in Sunbury – Lullaby Panama 5225, a durable and stylish fabric that instantly elevated the atmosphere of the venue.
- Plain banquette seating was reupholstered to provide clean, sleek lines for open seating areas.
- Fluted banquettes were reupholstered to create more intimate, socialising zones, enhancing the customer experience in key areas of the venue.
The new fabric choice has not only refreshed the look but also added timeless sophistication to the venue’s interior design.
About Electric Bristol
Electric Bristol has a rich history. Originally launched in 1964 as the Top Rank Suite concert venue with legendary acts such as The Beach Boys and The Faces gracing its stage, the venue went on to become Bristol’s leading nightclub in the 1970s.
In 2017, the Electric Group acquired the building with a vision of re-establishing it as a premier touring-standard concert venue. Today, centrally located on Nelson Street, Electric Bristol hosts world-class artists and events, combining major club nights at weekends with a pioneering live music programme during the week.

The reupholstered banquette seating now reflects the venue’s status as a modern, leading music destination, striking the perfect balance between durability, comfort, and style.
