What a way to bring the sunshine inside with these campervan cab seats!
The customer brought in their old plain cab seats as they want to give them a bit of life. And haven’t they just?
Using complementary fabric in the same colour way we have added interest to this campervan. Using Warwick Rhombus Electric on the centre panels, with Marco Tangerine on the sides and Cabro Graphite on the outside.

In preparation for warmer months, we helped transform this boat seating from old and worn to stylish and modern.
By swapping the black and white vinyl, it created a fresh design, with the contrast piping adding something extra special.
We’d love to give this boat a go on a hot summer’s day!
They look great!
We were asked to carry out full upholstery and restoration of seating on a vintage bus this one is a Daimler CVD6 with a Weymann body, new to Exeter Corporation, or the City of Exeter in 1949. It is fairly rare these days in that it has a Daimler engine. Only six of this type were built as supplied to Exeter and only two remain.
South West Upholstery stripped all seats back to the frames, carried out woodwork repairs and replaced wooden frames where required. We then cut and shaped new foams for all of the seating. Finally new upholstery was cut, sewn and fitted using a forest green faux leather with piping backs.
A challenging job but we love keeping history alive!

Ready for the sunshine!
We are used to odd projects so this was no different.
We were tasked to restore two army vehicle canvas canopies to glory using the original materials.
After careful planning, cutting and sewing we were able to keep the history alive and repair both canvas canopies on the trucks.
These are now being used in films so look out for them!
This year old motorhome was upholstered in leather.
Our customer purchased their motorhome and didn’t like the cloth upholstery. They approached us to install new leather on all the seats, trimmed parts and supply curtains.
Over five days the motorhome was gutted and all the old fabrics removed. We then upholstered all of the seating with new leather as selected by our customer.
In all we undertook the following…
- Front cab seats upholstered
- Seating areas upholstered
- New curtains supplied & fitted
- All trimmed panels were covered in leather
This was completed over five days at our workshops.
Just to say I am absolutely delighted with the job you have done on our van, throughout our order you have kept us informed and allowed us to pop in at any time during the works to see progress. Keep up the good work.
