Freshen up your furniture

If your furniture needs a touch up on the legs or full frame, we offer a polishing service to restore it to its true beauty. Over time wood often dulls or can be subject to damage. If you have a piece of Ercol furniture that requires some care and attention, we can quote to restore the whole frame. A wood polish is a fabulous way to finish off a newly upholstered piece of furniture – the cherry on the cake! You don’t need to have your furniture upholstered to have it polished, however, as we will carefully cover the upholstered parts and just polish the wood if so desired.

A sand and bead blast strips the wood right back to the basics, as was carried out on the chair below for a customer who wanted a fresh look for his carver chairs.

Change your furniture colour

Spraying furniture is a fabulous way to brighten it up or completely change is character. Many Lloyd Loom chairs begin to look tired as the paint flakes off – we can either respray it in its existing colour for a refresh or change the colour entirely, these are traditionally pink, blue, or off-white. We have also helped breathe new life into an Ercol chair thankfully saved from a tip by spraying it in Farrow & Ball’s ‘Calamine’, a lovely soft blossom colour. You can choose from the wide selection of Farrow & Ball paints or create your own for our experts to mix to completely personalise your furniture.

We offer a nationwide service for furniture polishing and spraying, so wherever you are in the UK contact us for your free written quotation.
