Do you collect/deliver? If so, costs?

South West Upholstery has its own fleet of vans and careful removal team. We are able to collect and deliver your items within the Bristol and surrounding areas.  Collection and delivery does incur a fee, quotable upon enquiry. If you are further away give us a call to confirm collection and delivery options.


We want to use your services but are not in the South West, is there any way this could happen?

Yes! We would love to hear from you. We have customers in Devon, Manchester, Liverpool, London and further afield. You can either arrange delivery and collection of your items yourself, or we can arrange for a trusted courier to uplift your items and return them once complete. We are able to supply a detailed quote to you via phone or email and can send samples and look books directly to your home or business for you to see in the flesh before you decide on the material for you.


How long will it take to complete the job?

All orders are completed within 7 – 14 days no matter how large or small.


Can you carry the work out at my house/premises?

Sometimes we are able to carry out small jobs on site, however larger jobs we need to uplift and carry out at our premises – this is always better because at our workshops we have all our tools and kit we require to get the job completed right!


Do you guarantee works?

Yes all works are guaranteed for 12 months, all materials carry the original manufacturers’ guarantees.


Are quotes & home visits FREE?

Yes, all of our quotes are free and valid for 30 days. Home visits are free too and you are at no obligation to decide on the day – we don’t do hard selling, it’s your decision!


Are you insured?

Yes we carry full public liability insurance.


Will you take on small jobs?

Yes we undertake all works from one small chair to a complete sailing boat – every job is worth doing.


What if you complete my work but we are still building or decorating?

No problem. We are able to safely store your items in a secure, clean area until you’re ready. For any period of time under 4 weeks following completion there would usually be no charge, however storage over 4 weeks will incur a very reasonable fee. Please ask us for more details.


Do you work with designers or building companies?

Yes we work with them all of the time. If you have a designer, builder, shopfitters, or any other on your project we can work with them directly to make sure everything runs smoothly.


How soon can you start work on my item?

Upholstery and re-upholstery: On average, 4 weeks after the deposit has been placed

Bespoke, handmade furniture: On average, 6 weeks after the deposit has been placed

Foam replacement orders: Approximately 5-7 working days, however we do have a selection of foam available in store to purchase and take away on the day. Please call in advance to check your requirements

Materials and sundry orders: Available from stock or within 1-2 working days

For smaller jobs and cushion inners we can often start works sooner; please call to obtain our next available work date.
